Over the years, the land of Pangaia has called many people to work, play, and dance upon her. There is constant evolution amongst the group of people who call Pangaia "home," although continuity is certainly welcome. Our numbers vary seasonally with those here for shorter stays and perhaps a half a dozen longer-term residents. Pangaia is situated in the middle of a unique rural neighborhood, and so our community circle often overlaps others.

Pangaians hail from all over the world and arrive with the hope of unity and common interest. Our unique and diverse life paths coincide on this land; we find joy in the exuberance of youths and the wisdom of elders, and are open to new members and families of all ages. We are all artists in one way or another, and creativity is at the heart of Pangaia. We welcome and explore new art forms, valuing movement, musical and, of course, culinary arts.

We do our best to be open in our dietary views, although there is a strong current and motivation towards thoughtful and healthy eating. Pangaia has been the home of those following a nearly 100 % raw diet, though we are open to diversity and come from a non-dogmatic space.

For us, our labor is part of a caring relationship- it’s all about a loving exchange. It goes far beyond hours, performed through a feeling of unity with gaia (the land). We dance with the Gaia and each other, exchanging willingness and care for enrichment and abundance, inviting journeys of self discovery, creating a unique kind of family; our community.
